Out of stock
Appearance
- A bright ruby red in the glass with shimmering reflections.
Nose
- A classic Pinot Noir on the nose with aromas of raspberry jam, kirsch, toasted cinnamon and delicate florals.
Taste
- The palate is light to medium bodied with smooth velvety tannin and flavours of crunchy red berries, strawberry, blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant. Forest floor and spice round out the finish.
The soil from this area of the Rheingau is a mix of loam and loess. The grapes are hand harvested and sorted for prime ripeness. The grapes pressed mechanically and then fermented with cultured yeast in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
