Two Beacons Vineyard – Pinot Noir Precoce

Appearance

• A bright ruby red in the glass with shimmering reflections.

Nose

• Aromas of dried rose petal, lavender, redcurrant, cherry and fresh herbs.

Taste

• The palate is rounded in texture with structured tannins and flavours of redcurrant, bay leaf, dried thyme and tomato leaf.

Early Pinot Noir Precoce is a unique variety of the Pinot Noir that ripens early and survives better in the cooler climate on England. The geology of the area is a mix of Silurian limestone and calcareous mud stones overlayed with a layer of glacial boulder clay. Once fermented, 50% of the wine is aged in French and American oak barriques.

Two Beacons Vineyard

• Founded in 2018, this family-owned vineyard is found between the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Beacons on the Malvern Hills, this makes them one of the closest vineyards to Bottles! When growing the vineyard, the family took care to pressure the natural landscape and wildlife, native trees and shrubs home a wealth of native insects and birds.
