Appearance

Deep straw yellow with golden reflections in the glass.

Nose

On the nose this wine is intensely fragrant with aromas of apricot, peach, golden grapefruit and lifted florality.

Taste

The palate is comforting and well-structured with a long lasting, sweet finish and flavours of candied citrus, fresh stone fruit and light white florals.

The Falanghina vines are grown of volcanic soils with a high concentration of salts and minerals. The grapes are harvested very late at the end of October and left to dry out for a month before pressing. The juice is fermented in stainless steel then moved to larfe oak barrels to age.

Telaro

Founded in 1987 in the Roccamonfina Regional Park in Campania, southern Italy. From the beginning, this winery was set up with the idea of developing native grape varieties through eco-friendly and organic growing practices. In 1996 the La Starza farmhouse was constructed to give people the chance to visit and learn about the winemaking process. Over the next decade the winery spread its wines around the globe and today the winery continues its research into innovating viticulture and protecting vines from diseases.
