Di Maria Prosecco NV
Botter Winery originated in 1928 when Carlo Botter and his wife Maria established it in Fossalta di Piave, a charming town near Venice. Initially, the business revolved around selling local wines in barrels and demijohns.
In the 1960s, Arnaldo and Enzo, the sons of Carlo and Maria, joined the enterprise and shifted the focus to bottling wine. Their efforts not only strengthened Botter’s presence in the Italian market but also initiated a gradual expansion into international territories, ultimately becoming the primary source of the company’s revenue.

Food Pairing : Excellent as an aperitif, it is a perfect accompaniment to hors-d’oeuvres and delicate first courses. Also wonderful with fish and shellfish.

Prosecco really shouldn’t be too sweet, and cheaper versions often will mask dilute flavours with excess sugar. Not in the case of Di Maria Prosecco DOC. Light body with a nice medium dry finish. Not too sweet, subtle citrus and apple notes. Small bubbles makes for a very easy drinking bottle of bubbly, good for any occasion. Top notch for the price.
