Perrier-Jouët – Blason Rosé

Appearance

• Bright pink in colour with a light orange tint.

Nose

• On the nose we find a powerful and fruity bouquet with aromas of ripe red fruits, wild strawberry, redcurrant jam and hints of rose petal.

Taste

• Full in flavour with a beautifully fine perlage, flavours of red berries, lemon citrus and sherbet.

The grapes for this wine are sourced from 30 different crus. After fermentation the wine spends a minimum of 26 months on lees before the addition of 12g/l dosage.

Perrier-Jouët

• Founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, Rose was the daughter of a merchant family and Pierre was a vintner and botanist. The couple were artists as well as lovers of botany, they passed down these passions to their children and today the house still holds a reverence for nature and the Art Nouveau movement that is shown in the beautiful designs found on their labels. Today the cellar master is Séverine Frerson, their eighth in the role and the first woman to hold that position in the history of the house.
