Monzio Compagnoni – Franciacorta Cuvée alla Moda Brut

Appearance

• Straw yellow with a touch of green highlights. The perlage abundant and super fine.

Nose

• A highly floral sparkling white with notes of toasted bread, peach and apple with a touch of sea salt.

Taste

• The palate is fresh and acid driven with notes of lemon citrus, green apple and peach. These are softened by a touch of vanilla and brioche.

A non-vintaged traditional method that goes through the full ‘Champagne’ treatment before being dosed with just 4 grams of sugar per litre to ensure a super dry finish.

Monzio Compagnoni

• Located in the heart of the Franciacorta hills around an old 15th century farmhouse in the region of Lombardy. Marcello Monzio Compagnoni purchased the land in 1995 after extensive agricultural and architectural studies proved it would be a great piece of land for making sparkling wine. Consultant oenologists Donato Lanati and Stefano Graffi work together to ensure that the 10 hectares of land produce the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for making sparkling wine with complexity and unique character.
