Maison Roche de Bellene – Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay

Appearance

• Bright straw yellow with a touch of light green reflections in the glass.

Nose

• Rich and expressive with aromas of quince, pineapple, baked apple and lemon peel.

Taste

• The palate is complex and juicy with flavours similar to that of a beautiful baked apple pie, with a hint of minerality and a light touch of oak.

The grapes for this wine come from some of the best parcels within the Cote de Beaune. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented with natural yeast in barrel. Once fermented the wine is then aged in 500-liter French oak Casks.

Maison Roche de Bellene

The city of Beaune from which the Cote de Beaune gets its name was originally called Bellen until the Middle Ages. Maison Roche de Bellene was founded in 2008 to form a network of prestigious winemakers. From the beginning, Maison Roche aimed to produce aged wines, selected with care to express the amazing terroir of its locality.
