Kintonis Winery – Theone Moschofilero Rosé

Appearance

A pale salmon pink with hints of peach on in the glass.

Nose

• The nose is tropical and fruity with notes of Turkish delight, lemon zest and rambutan.

Taste

• The palate bursts with rambutan as a top note followed by rose petal, lemon blossom and pink grapefruit.

The grapes for this wine come from 20-year-old vines planted on a clay and sand soil type at an altitude of over 600m. The grapes are cold macerated and pressed pneumatically. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to maintain freshness.

Kintonis Winery

• Kintonis was founded in 1952 in Aigio by George Kintonis. Three generations of the Kintonis family have run this Greek enterprise with passion. The most recent generation has taken to modernising the winery, adding temperature controlled stainless steel storage tanks, pneumatic presses and humidity control rooms for French oak aging.
