Joe’s Judgements

Love this stuff, particularly as it shows the softer side of cabernet sauvignon. The grape can often be dry and restrictive in terms of its tannins, which can be a little off-putting. Bodega Staphyle Iris Doble Cabernet Sauvignon has lots of bold fruits as you’d expect, blackcurrants and blackberries, cherries and plumsand a lovely hint of oak in the background. This lends a soft, quaffable nature to the wine and means that while its a good idea to decant, you can get away with drinking this loud and proud. enjoy!
