Domaine de la Foliette – Muscadet Cuveé L’Origine

Appearance

• A super clear and luminous yellow wine in the glass.

Nose

• On the nose this wine is like a bouquet of white flowers mixed with a little stone fruit and apple.

Taste

• On the palate this is a supple and balance wine with decent structure. Flavours of green and golden apple mix with pear, peach and white flowers to make this a beautiful drinking experience.

This Cuveé is a blend of several plots each with a different terroir adding to the wine’s complexity. Gentle pressing is followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation and then six months aging on fine lees to build a creamy texture.

Domaine de la Foliette

• Found in the heart of the Muscadet wine growing region in the Loire. Domaine de la Foliette has taken the classic Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie and created a range of wines for any palate. They didn’t stop there, they have also began working with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and making a traditional method sparkling white. Since 2019 Foliette has been certified organic.
