Appearance

• A deep and rich garnet colour in the glass

Nose

• On the nose this wine is deep and earthy with dark red cherry, mulberry and blackberry.

Taste

• The palate is fine and elegant with a lingering finish. Flavours of overripe strawberry, blackberry, red cherry, toasted baking spices, forest floor and flint.

The grapes for this wine come from 2 hectares of vines in the famous Côte de Nuits appellation. The vines are grown and treated organically. After fermentation the wine ages for 14 months in French Oak

Domaine Bertrand Ambroise

• Maison Ambroise is located in Premeaux-Prissey just south of the Côtes de Nuits town of Nuits-St-Georges. Bertrant Ambroise took over the winery in 1987 a and currently runs the winery with is children François and Ludivine. They have been certified organic since 2013. The wines from this Maison are famed for their bold flavours and higher percentage of new oak aging.
