Deltetto – Langhe Favorita DOC Servaj

Appearance

• Vibrant lemon-green.

Nose

• Citrus forward in aroma with delicate floral citrus blossom notes.

Taste

• The palate is incredibly fresh and vibrant with citrus acidity giving way to fresh herbs like Lemonthyme and a touch of light florality.

These grapes grow in the steep sandy hills of Roero. After harvesting the grapes are cold macerated and fermented in stainless steel to retain the delicate floral aromas.

Villa Medoro

• This family run winery is found in the hills of Roero in the Piedmont wine region. Back at the end of the 19th century the family began planting Nebbiolo and Barbera around a small farmhouse in the I Lioni hamlet. It was in 1953 when Carlo and his wife Catterina founded the modern larger winery in Canale. Production was modernized in the 80’s and the family began exploring with traditional method white wines and other native grapes like Favorita. Today, Deltetto is an award-winning name in the Langhe region of Piedmont making a range of wines in red, white and sparkling.
