Cave de Turckheim – Gewurztraminer

Appearance

• A deep golden yellow in the glass with a tiny hint of peach.

Nose

• The aroma of this wine is classic Gewurztraminer with notes of rosewater, ginger, lemon citrus and lychee.

Taste

• The palate is super generous and creamy with notes of fragrant rose petal, lychee, lemon sherbet and ginger.

After pressing, the grapes are temperature controlled fermented. The wine is then bottled with no fining and light filtration to preserve the fruit and floral characteristics of the grapes.

Cave de Turckheim

• Considered one the best co-operatives in the world, Turckheim lies at the mouth of the Munster Valley in the Alsace. Over 180 partners take part in the co-operative, over the entirety of Alsace. Growers keep yields low and pick all the grapes by hand. Sustainability is an important part of Turckheim’s strategy, being the largest holder of organic vineyards in the Alsace.
