Bodegas Los Haroldos – Chacabuco Malbec

Appearance

• Deep red in the glass with touches of purple.

Nose

• The nose is super fruit forward with aromas of plum, damson, black cherry and a touch of toasted spices.

Taste

• The palate is smooth and full of fruit with a mix of blackberry, cherry, plum and damson with a lingering warm spice and soft tannins.

This malbec is fermented in stainless steel and bottles fresh to preserve the intense fruity flavours. The Chacabuco range is unoaked and focuses on the natural fruit flavours of each grape. The name comes from the suburb of Buenos Aires where the Falasco family originated.

Bodegas los Haroldos

• Haroldo Falasco acquired a small vineyard in the Mendoza Provence of Argentina in the 1930’s. His operation was so small that he sold the wine by loading up the front of this bike and cycling the wines into his local town. Since those days Bodegas los Haroldos has grown an amazing portfolio of fine wines and own vineyards in some of the most sought-after locations in Mendoza.
