Bajel Pirata wines hail from Alicante, Valencia, in Spain’s southeast, thriving under Mediterranean conditions. The region’s intense sunlight, sea breeze, and rugged terrain yield wines with concentrated structures and vibrant fruitiness. Monastrell reigns as the dominant grape, thriving in the hot, dry climate. The predominantly bush-trained vineyards benefit from high altitudes and sandy, limestone-rich soils.

Intense red colour; aromas of berries, fresh fruit and some nuances of aromatic herbs. In the mouth, it is very tasty and fruity, light without losing structure. Silky tannins and delicate acidity with a moderately long finish.

Alcohol – 13% ABV

*Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans

Joe’s Judgements

A quintessential Mediterranean red, this wine bursts with ripe, juicy flavors and a robust backbone. Dominated by enticing blue fruits, it offers a nose reminiscent of blue fruit pastilles. Despite being a lighter rendition of Monastrell, it presents a gravelly, firm mouthfeel complemented by gentle, velvety tannins.
